Gou Hojou serves as the Chief Driver for the Sidewinders, a position that puts him right in the middle of the team's racing operations. He knows Takahashi Ryousuke pretty well—mostly through his brother—and he's fully aware of the intense rivalry that's developed between them. When Project D rolls through, Hojou teams up with Chief Mechanic Kubo Eiji to scout out weaknesses in their setup, giving the Sidewinders a tactical edge.
