Crusch is a white albino lizardman and the acting chieftain of the Red Eye tribe. Born albino—a condition that normally meant abandonment in lizardmen culture—her parents chose to raise her anyway. She quickly proved herself talented with magic, eventually becoming the strongest spellcaster among all the lizardmen tribes. Her specialty is nature magic and spirit summoning, abilities that made her invaluable to her people.
When famine struck the Wetlands, the Red Eye tribe barely survived through fratricide. Crusch, unable to live with the guilt and shame of those deaths, led a rebellion against the sitting chief and won, taking leadership for herself and earning equal standing with the other tribal leaders.
Her albino skin is both a gift and a curse. While it enabled her magical prowess, it leaves her severely vulnerable to sunlight—she burns easily and becomes dangerously weak in daylight. This forces her to wear an admittedly ridiculous bush outfit whenever she ventures out during the day.
Later on, she falls in love with Zaryusu Shasha.
