Io is a Holland Lop rabbit with long, droopy ears and a fluffy tail. His defining feature is his purple cordierite eyes—the kind that give him that jewel-like sparkle. He's usually dressed up with a purple ribbon bowtie, which fits his elegant vibe.
As one of the Jewel Eight, Io had a rough patch when Dian brainwashed him into weaponizing his powers to exhaust humans. Rinko's crew managed to snap him out of it by winning him back through the Jewel Games. In Jewelpet Kira Deco, he bounces back as a loyal follower of Opal, teaming up with Coal to hunt down Deco Stones for the Decoranain. Beyond that, he mostly fades into the background in the other seasons.
