Giluas is basically the gold standard when it comes to adventurers in the Alliance. He's picked up magic through constant practice rather than formal training—it's become so second nature that he uses it unconsciously during fights, which is pretty wild when you think about it.
The guy's got an ego to match his power. He loves a good challenge and actively seeks out the strongest opponents he can find, which tracks for someone at his level. But here's the thing: despite all that confidence and arrogance, he's genuinely hardworking. He knows his own limits and isn't afraid to study and improve himself, even though reading apparently gives him headaches. That kind of self-awareness combined with determination is probably a big part of why he made it this far.
