Miguel started out as one of Suguru Geto's loyal commanders, genuinely invested in seeing him rise to power. That changed after the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons—Gojo basically forced him into the Jujutsu Society afterward. Rather than stick around Japan, Miguel headed back to Africa, where he's part of a sorcerer community there. He's since taken on the role of training Yuta Okkotsu, helping develop him as a jujutsu sorcerer.
