Dai Moroboshi, Aiwa's shooting guard and team captain, earned his nickname "Star of Aichi" for good reason. He's widely regarded as one of the few players capable of going head-to-head with Sannoh's Eiji Sawakita, though Moroboshi himself downplays the comparison. During the Aichi Interhigh finals, he took a hard hit from Meihou's Hiroshi Morishige that forced him out of the game. He returned later, but by then Meihou had built too big a lead to overcome.
