Kousaka's girlfriend and probably the least otaku person you'll ever meet in Genshiken. Saki's stylish, quick to throw a punch, and completely unmoved by anime character appeal—she's just not into that stuff. She ends up joining the club mostly because Kousaka dragged her along and the chairman basically had dirt on her, but she stayed, which is weird considering how much she hated the whole scene at first. Wouldn't be caught dead in nekomimi ears back then.
What's surprising is that Saki actually saved Genshiken from getting shut down twice. Her reasons weren't exactly pure fandom though—mostly just revenge and guilt working themselves out.
Over time, she actually became genuinely close with most of the club members, comfortable enough to drop the judgmental act entirely. The main exception is probably Kuchiki, who she's never really warmed up to. She's got this habit of giving everyone nicknames: Sasahara is "Sasayan," Kugayama is "Kugapii," Ogiue is "Ogichin," and even Kuchiki gets "Kucchi," though she fought that one for a while before giving in.
