Urouge is a former monk turned pirate from one of the sky islands, specifically believed to be from Bilkan based on his distinctive wing style. He made a name for himself as one of the eleven pirates dubbed "The Eleven Supernovas" when the Straw Hat crew arrived at Sabaody Archipelago.
