Anno Namihei is one of Aqua's postal workers and basically Akari's first friend on the planet—he's the one who found her passed out when she arrived and carried her straight to the Aria Company offices. They stayed close after that, close enough that he'd ask her to help out with mail runs when his gondola was in the shop, and she'd invite him to festivals. He's well-liked enough that the other postmen call him "Elder" or variations on the term, a nickname that stuck because of his age and the respect he commands in the neighborhood.
Despite the gray hair, Anno doesn't let age slow him down. He's the kind of guy who does his job at his own pace—methodical, calm, efficient—and seems to genuinely enjoy the work. He's friendly and approachable, confident in what he does, and has a reputation for helping people out with postal-related tasks even when he's technically off the clock.
