It's 2301, and Mars—now called Aqua—has been completely flooded by 150 years of terraforming. Its capital, Neo-Venezia, is basically a recreation of Venice transplanted to an alien world. Tourists and locals spend their days cruising the canals by gondola, soaking in that old-world charm. The gondoliers here are called Undines—skilled women who know the city inside and out and double as tour guides. The profession originated back on Earth (called Manhome now), and several prestigious Undine companies have set up shop in Neo-Venezia. It's a dream job for a lot of young girls. Akari Mizunashi came all the way from Manhome to chase that dream. She lands an apprenticeship at the Aria Company and quickly finds her footing with her mentor Alicia Florence, a chubby orange cat named Aria, and Aika, another trainee from a rival company called Himeya. As Akari works toward becoming a real Undine, she and her new friends discover just how magical life in Neo-Venezia can be. Included: Volume 2: Othello Game (Ebony & Ivory)
