Synopsis

Kirito wakes up in a massive forest surrounded by towering trees and no idea where he is. While looking for answers about what's going on, he meets a young boy who acts like he knows Kirito—except he's supposed to be just an NPC, yet he has genuine emotions that feel completely human. As they venture out to find the boy's parents, Kirito's memories start coming back to him. Fragments from his own childhood, actually. He remembers this boy, and a girl with golden hair too. Her name was Alice. A name he should never have forgotten.
