Eugeo is one of the main protagonists of Alicization Beginning. He grew up as a woodcutter in Rulid Village, where he and Kirito became best friends—though Kirito was essentially a stranger at the time. When their childhood friend Alice was taken away, Kirito vanished from their lives. Years later, when Kirito returned to the Underworld with no memory of his past, Eugeo was the first person he encountered when he woke up.
Eugeo's defining role came from his Sacred Task: cutting down the massive Gigas Cedar.
