Synopsis

Humanity's spread across the stars has made them comfortable—maybe too comfortable. They're slowly giving up, worn down by constant defeat at the hands of alien invaders. But Herlock refuses to accept it. He gathers a crew of outcasts and takes command of the starship Arcadia, using it to launch guerrilla strikes against whoever's occupying Earth. The main threat? The Mazone, a race of plant-like alien women who apparently visited Earth way back in ancient times. Now they're back, and they want their claim on the planet enforced.
