Synopsis

Eight centuries have passed since the Idaten gods locked away the demons that once terrorized humanity. For Hayato—a brash young deity—it's basically ancient history. Him and his generation have had it easy, just keeping watch over humans in a world at peace. But when the demon seal shatters, Hayato and his ragtag crew of gods suddenly find themselves humanity's last line of defense. The problem? These misfits have no idea how to actually fight a war.
