Synopsis

Nao Kanzaki has always lived up to her name—she's foolishly honest to a fault. So when a mysterious package shows up at her door containing one hundred million yen and an invitation to the "Liar Game," she doesn't think twice before accepting. Big mistake. Turns out the tournament is exactly what it sounds like: contestants are supposed to lie, cheat, and backstab each other for massive cash prizes. Lose, and you're drowning in lifetime debt. Desperate and out of options, Nao's only hope is to find someone who actually knows how to manipulate people. Enter Shinichi Akiyama, a con artist and former psychology student who just got out of prison after single-handedly destroying a company. When Nao tracks him down begging for help, he's not interested—at least at first. But her desperation eventually wears him down, and he agrees to get involved. As Nao and Shinichi navigate this twisted game, both pursuing their own goals, they start to uncover what's really going on beneath the surface—not just about the tournament itself, but about everyone competing in it.
