Smile Pretty Cure The fairy tale kingdom of Märchenland comes under attack when Pierrot, the tyrannical emperor of the Bad End Kingdom, steals the Cure Decors that sustain Queen Royale. Before Pierrot can do more damage, Royale uses her remaining power to seal him away—but his followers aren't done yet. They're plotting to resurrect him by collecting the Bad Energy radiating from people on Earth. To save Märchenland and restore herself, Royale sends five magical lights down to Earth and tasks a fairy named Candy with finding five legendary warriors: the Pretty Cures. In the town of Nanairogaoka, Candy meets Miyuki Hoshizora, a cheerful transfer student who becomes the first Cure, transforming into Cure Happy. Soon after, Miyuki's new friends join the fight: Akane Hino (Cure Sunny), Yayoi Kise (Cure Peace), Nao Midorikawa (Cure March), and Reika Aoki (Cure Beauty). Together, they form Smile Pretty Cure and throw themselves into the mission to recover the Cure Decors, save Märchenland, and protect the world's happiness.
