Gekijouban Pocket Monsters: Kimi ni Kimeta!
Satoshi oversleeps on his tenth birthday and ends up stuck with a stubborn Pikachu—not the partner Pokémon he'd actually wanted. Things are rough at first, but the two gradually bond and become real partners. Then they catch sight of the legendary Ho-Oh flying overhead, and that's all the motivation they need: they're going after it. Two other trainers, Makoto and Souji, join Satoshi's quest. During their travels, they encounter Marshadow, a mysterious Mythical Pokémon. But as they get closer to Ho-Oh, they run into Cross, an arrogant trainer who's determined to block their path. The question becomes whether Satoshi and Pikachu can actually beat him and make good on their promise to find Ho-Oh—or if their journey ends right here.
