Just a month after meeting the magical wand Ruby, Illya's already juggling the usual stuff—school, homework, and the whole magical girl thing. Then one morning on the way to class, she and Miyu get pulled aside by Rin, who explains that collecting all those magic cards has messed with the Earth's magical balance. When they try to stabilize it by channeling magic back into the planet, something goes wrong and a mysterious woman appears—one who looks exactly like Illya. The next day, this black-clad doppelgänger attacks. Illya transforms into Prisma Illya to fight back, but her double is way stronger than expected. She barely manages to drive her off, but she's left with way more questions than answers. Who is this person?
