Kouji Kumeta
A gag manga artist from Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, best known for Katte ni Kaizou and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei—the latter being pretty much his signature work. He's also created √P Root Paradise, Sodatte Darling!!, and Taiyou no Senshi Pokapoka.
Over the years he's worked with notable assistants including Kenjiro Hata and Maeda-kun (who goes by MAEDAX, MAEDAX G, and MAEDAX Roman depending on the project).
