Jason Michael Kesser is a voice and film actor based across Los Angeles, New York, and Miami with a reputation for sharp improvisational work and on-the-spot character creation. He's got a lifelong obsession with dialects, and that passion shows—he's become a recognizable name in anime dubbing over the past couple decades.
His film work includes lead roles for acclaimed directors like Michel Ocelot (Dilili in Paris) and Luiz Bolognesi (The Immortal Warrior), both of whom have brought him in for English leads on their projects. On the streaming side, he's nabbed lead roles across multiple platforms: Amazon Prime has featured him in Space Dogs II: Tropic Adventure, Toys & Pets, The Immortal Warrior, and Dom, which was Amazon's first Brazilian original series.
Anime and animated work is really where Kesser's made his mark. He voiced the lead character Heizo Hasagawa in the Onihei series on Tubi, took on Katsura in Gintama on Hulu, and landed the role of Kasuki Minase in Netflix's A.I.C.O. Incarnation. He also voiced the English dub of Anpanman—specifically as Baikinman—for the first time in the franchise's history; the show's been running for over 20 years in Japan and remains one of the country's most popular kids' programs. He's also the lead in The King's Avatar: For the Glory on Tubi and has appeared in the YouTube original Obsolete.
Beyond animation, Kesser has done voice work for video games and toys, including Huge Play!'s Talking Tom Gamebud, which was marketed as the toy industry's first animatronic smart toy of its kind. He's spoken on panels at Comic-Con San Diego 2021 and Supercon 2021.
