vistlip came together on July 7, 2007—a date the band seems to have chosen deliberately for its auspiciousness. The lineup pulled members from across Japan: Tomo on vocals (Fukuoka), guitarists Yuh and Umi (both Tokyo), with Umi also handling rap vocals and essentially acting as the driving force behind the group's formation. Rui handles bass from his Hyogo roots, while drummer Tohya rounds things out from Kanagawa.
