Naoyuki Katou
Naoyuki Katou is a Japanese illustrator from Hamamatsu City, best known for his science-fiction artwork since the 1970s. He's contributed illustrations to countless SF and fantasy magazines, novels, and games over his career.
In 1972, Katou was one of the four founding members of Studio Nue alongside Haruka Takachiho, Kazutaka Miyatake, and Kenichi Matsuzaki—a collaboration that became influential in Japanese sci-fi illustration. He's published several compilation books collecting his work.
