Solo Leveling

Ten years ago, the Gates appeared and opened a doorway between the human world and a realm full of magic and monsters. Ordinary people started manifesting superhuman abilities to fight back, earning the title of "Hunter." Sung Jin-Woo is a twenty-year-old Hunter—technically. The problem is he's known as the "World's Weakest" because his powers are pathetic, barely scraping E-Rank status. Despite this, he grinds through low-rank Gates constantly, taking whatever work he can get to pay for his mother's medical treatment. His life is miserable and repetitive until a mission goes catastrophically wrong. Jin-Woo thinks he's done for, but he wakes up three days later in a hospital bed to find something impossible: a mysterious screen hovering right in front of him. It's a Quest Log, and it's demanding he complete an absurdly difficult training regimen or face serious consequences. He's not thrilled about it at first, but as he starts pushing through, something becomes clear—this crazy training might actually be turning him into one of the strongest Hunters alive.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru

Wakana Gojou is a quiet first-year high schooler stuck making traditional dolls with his family—and he's got no friends. A bad experience with a childhood friend who mocked his hobby left him unable to connect with anyone his age, so he just keeps to himself. He's really good at sewing doll clothes, though he still struggles with painting their faces. That skill catches the attention of Marin Kitagawa, a gorgeous classmate whose confidence and straightforward personality both impress and intimidate him. She decides to tell him about her hobby: she loves cosplaying as characters from adult video games. The problem is, Marin can't actually make her own costumes—so she asks Wakana for help. As he gets pulled into her cosplay projects, something shifts. She becomes his first real friend, someone who genuinely accepts him. Despite being complete opposites, they start developing a real connection through working together on increasingly elaborate cosplay builds.

Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts—it's just something he's grown up with. But his normal teenage life gets turned upside down when a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki shows up in his bedroom. She's supposed to help spirits move on, but things go bad fast when a Hollow attacks. These creatures are basically evil spirits that eat souls, and when Ichigo tries to jump in and fight one, he gets himself in real trouble. Rukia takes the hit for him, and since she's badly wounded, she makes a desperate call: transfer some of her Soul Reaper powers to him so he can at least protect himself. Ichigo agrees to it, but something unexpected happens—he doesn't just get half her powers. He absorbs all of them, which lets him instantly take down the Hollow. Now he's stuck as an actual Soul Reaper, which means taking over Rukia's job of hunting Hollows and watching over both the living and the dead. He's not alone though. His friends Orihime and Chad end up discovering they have spiritual powers too, and the three of them team up. But as Ichigo quickly finds out, being a Soul Reaper and getting tangled up in the spirit world comes with way more baggage than he bargained for.

Sword Art Online: Progressive

A month into Kayaba's death game, the body count has hit two thousand. Kirito and Asuna couldn't be more different—both are loners by nature, yet they keep getting pulled toward each other as threats close in from all sides. The virtual world they're trapped in was designed to kill them, and as desperation spreads through the survivor population, solo players are becoming targets. It's becoming obvious that going it alone is a death sentence. The question is whether these two can set aside their differences, learn to trust each other, and actually work together to survive.
