Synopsis

Fate/strange Fake follows a flawed imitation of the Holy Grail War. Decades after the third Grail War in Fuyuki, a US-based magical organization separate from the London Mage Association studied the event's data and decided to run their own version. Seventy years later, they set up shop in Snowfield and kicked things off—except they couldn't get all the details right. The ritual came out broken: no Saber class, weird Servant summoning rules, and a blurred definition of what even counts as a "hero" anymore. The Mage Association sends Rohngall and his student Faldeus to Snowfield to investigate. Faldeus, though, is actually a spy for the US organization. He has Rohngall sniped the moment he arrives (Rohngall being a puppet anyway), then publicly declares that their Grail War is real and operational. The move causes an uproar back at the Clock Tower, and Faldeus makes it clear he wants to put their whole project on the map with the Association.
