Tine serves as the Master of Archer in the False Holy Grail War taking place in Snowfield. She comes from an indigenous people who watched over the Snowfield region for roughly a thousand years—until the early twentieth century, when the government and a group of magi forcibly drove them out to prepare the land for the War.
Her participation in the conflict is fundamentally about reclaiming her people's homeland rather than pursuing a personal wish.
