Assassin (Fake Holy Grail War)
Summoned by Jester Karture as an Assassin in the fake Holy Grail War in Snowfield.
She was a former candidate to become Hassan-i Sabbah—the title shared by leaders of the Hashshashin, the League of Assassins. In life, she came from a country that's now little more than legend, and was known as an exceptionally devout believer. Her faith, however, went beyond mere piety. Even among her own sect, she earned the label "zealot"—and not as a compliment. While the group itself was full of fanatics, her conviction was so extreme it stood out. She never resented them for it either, genuinely believing her own rejection came from her own immaturity and spiritual weakness.
Becoming the sect's leader meant acquiring Divine Miracles—powers that could reliably kill heretics and infidels with precision. The Hassan-i Sabbah before her had all achieved such miracles, manifestations called Zabaniya, named after fallen angels. She became obsessed with recreating them, working herself to exhaustion to master each one her predecessors had accomplished. And she did it. All eighteen of them.
The sect was horrified. No one could believe what she'd achieved in such a short time. But they still wouldn't acknowledge her as the next leader. Their excuses piled up: she was just copying old techniques, not creating anything original; she lacked real spiritual maturity; she was too young to lead. The real reason, though, was fear. She'd mastered everything too quickly, learned powers that should have taken lifetimes. Rather than resent them, she internalized their judgment, convinced her own immaturity was the problem.
She never found her own unique miracle. Instead, a man called "The Hundred-Faced One" became the nineteenth Hassan. When she recognized his ability—a Zabaniya she herself lacked—shame washed over her more than envy. She'd failed. No acknowledgment came, no recognition of her sacrifice. She lived out her life as just another zealot, never even granted the dignity of martyrdom.
Her existence became meaningless, lost to history. Yet she never hated the world for it. She couldn't—there was nothing in her capable of bearing grudges. The only thing she despised was heresy itself. She was a fanatic no one could save, a zealot consumed entirely by faith.
That would have been the end of her story. Then the False Grail chose her, and everything changed.
