Synopsis

Tetsunosuke witnessed his parents' murder at the hands of the Choushuu, and the trauma left him obsessed with revenge. At fifteen, he sought out the Shinsengumi, determined to join their ranks and gain the strength he craved. But he wasn't cut out for it—he lacked the skill, the mindset, and the cold willingness to kill anyone who got in the way of peace. His brother Tatsunosuke and the friends he made in the Shinsengumi supported him as best they could, but nothing could have prepared Tetsunosuke for the blood and suffering that came with being part of this legendary group.
