Synopsis

Infinite Stratos are powerful exoskeletons developed by Japan that only women can pilot. They're so dangerous that the world signed a treaty to keep them out of active military service. That changes when 15-year-old Ichika Orimura turns out to be the first guy ever capable of piloting one. He gets forced into the Infinite Stratos Academy—basically a girls-only boarding school that trains future IS pilots—where he runs into his childhood friends Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang. He also meets Cecilia Alcott, the academy's British IS representative. Ichika's guided by Chifuyu Orimura, a legendary pilot who happens to be his older sister and also his strict homeroom teacher. Together with the girls, Ichika has to figure out how to protect the academy and themselves from whatever threats come their way during their time at school.
