Synopsis

Ryuuichi Naruhodou's been dreaming of becoming a defense attorney since childhood—someone who'd fight for the innocent when nobody else would. Now that he's finally landed his first case as a rookie lawyer under his mentor Chihiro Ayasato's wing, he's about to learn that courtrooms are brutal battlegrounds. He'll need to think creatively and dig deep to uncover the truth behind each crime and prove his clients didn't do it. Following Ryuuichi's journey through case after case, the series throws some serious obstacles in his way. His biggest rival is Reiji Mitsurugi, a ruthless prosecutor who'll do whatever it takes to secure a guilty verdict. With the odds stacked against him, Ryuuichi has to meticulously pick apart the evidence and witness statements, cutting through the lies to figure out what really happened. It's a constant clash of objections and courtroom drama as he fights to clear the falsely accused.
