Synopsis

Shizuku Mizutani is a self-absorbed student who cares about one thing: her grades. She couldn't care less about the people around her—until she crosses paths with Haru Yoshida, a violent delinquent who's basically checked out of school after a fight. At first they seem like opposites, but they're actually pretty similar: both are emotionally stunted and friendless, just in different ways. When Haru declares that Shizuku will be his friend and immediately confesses his feelings for her, she's completely thrown off. She has no idea how to process a relationship like this, having spent her whole life avoiding social connections. But as they spend more time together, something shifts. She starts seeing past his aggression and realizes there's actually a real person underneath. Her feelings for him grow, though she can't quite figure out what they are or what they mean. As the story unfolds, Shizuku and Haru work through their emotional confusion together, slowly discovering what their bond actually is.
