Drifters
After being mortally wounded at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Toyohisa Shimazu is suddenly transported to a stark white hallway filled with hundreds of doors. A mysterious man named Murasaki pulls him through one at random, and Toyohisa finds himself in a completely unfamiliar world. This new land is crawling with fantastical creatures and historical warriors who should've been dead—including the legendary warlord Nobunaga Oda and the skilled archer Yoichi Suketaka Nasu. Toyohisa quickly learns he's been summoned as a "Drifter," part of a group caught in conflict with the "Ends"—powerful beings responsible for creating the Orte Empire and bent on wiping out the Drifters. As the Ends consolidate power, the Empire intensifies its oppression of elves and other demihumans. Now Toyohisa and his ragtag team of historical misfits have to fight their way across this new world, battling the Ends and their forces while trying to protect the Empire's persecuted populations. It's basically an all-out continental war, and they're the only ones standing in the way.
