A legendary warlord who conquered most of Japan during the Sengoku period, he's best known as the daimyo who kicked off the unification of Japan and was the first Japanese military commander to actually bring arquebuses into major battles. That early adoption of firearms probably explains why, as a Drifter, he relies on an arquebus in combat.
Historically, he died in 1582—twenty years before Toyohisa. But in the new world, he's barely aged six months since arrival, which means he's still in his prime and hasn't had time to process much of anything yet.
