Mitsuhide is best known for betraying Oda Nobunaga, his former lord—a decision that ultimately led to Nobunaga's death. Their conflict didn't stay buried in the past, though. After both ended up in a different world, they found themselves on opposite sides once again: Mitsuhide now serves as an End under the Black King's command, while Nobunaga became a Drifter. The old animosity between them simply carried over into this new realm, turning their historical grudge into an ongoing supernatural conflict.
