Synopsis

The continent of Atlatan is once again torn apart by war, triggered by the catastrophic Great Hall Tragedy. What should have been a peace-securing wedding between Sir Alexis Douse and Lady Marrine Kreische—uniting the Fantasia Union and the Factory Alliance—turned into a nightmare. During the ceremony, a surge of Chaos, a destructive force from another dimension that spawns monsters and corruption, suddenly manifested. Out of it emerged the Demon Lord of Diabolos, who slaughtered both factions' archdukes in an instant, obliterating any chance at peace. Siluca Meletes, a mage from the Alliance, was traveling through the Chaos-ravaged countryside seeking magical training when Federation soldiers cornered her. She's rescued by Theo Cornaro, a young warrior bearing a mysterious Crest—a magical mark that lets him banish Chaos. Unlike most, Theo has no loyalty to any particular domain. Instead, he's driven by a personal goal: become a Lord so he can free his hometown of Sistina from its oppressive ruler and the Chaos consuming it. Impressed by his ambition, Siluca forms a magical contract with him, and together they set out to bring peace back to their fractured world.
