A JSDF staff sergeant and member of the Third Recon Team, best known as Itami's driver. He's a self-proclaimed otaku with a weakness for nekomimi—basically the only guy on the team who can actually talk anime and manga with Itami without getting weird looks. His shared interests make him Itami's go-to person when the conversation turns to otaku culture, which happens more often than you'd think in a military unit.
