Celenike was born into the Icecolle family, an old magical bloodline specializing in dark arts. The clan had a rough history—they were hunted during the Middle Ages and forced all the way to Siberia to survive, which pretty much destroyed their original magical foundation and sent them into a slow decline. By the time Celenike came along, she was the first promising child the bloodline had produced in ages. Her elders, who'd spent their lives trying to keep their craft alive, basically spoiled her and taught her everything they knew.
She grew up to become a sadistic magus who made her living cursing people to death. Among the Yggdmillennia clan, Celenike stood out—not in a good way. While everyone else prioritized the clan's goals, she put herself first, and she had a vindictive streak that made her the most openly hostile member of the group. During the Great Holy Grail War, she served as the Master to Rider of Black.
