Kubersly (also spelled Cubersly) was an Alliance admiral known for his competence and integrity. Before his promotion to chief of joint operations headquarters, he'd built a solid reputation commanding the 1st Fleet, where he effectively protected Alliance territory and kept piracy in check.
His career took a dramatic turn in 797 UC when Andrew Falk attempted to assassinate him—the attack left him critically wounded, though not fatally. He never fully recovered despite multiple surgeries, and was forced to retire the following year. Admiral Dawson took his place.
