Sieg started out as just another homunculus in Yggdmillennia's collection—designed for a specific purpose like all the rest. Gordes Musik Yggdmillennia kept him in a prana tank to serve as an energy source for Servants, but that wasn't his final destination. Caster of Black ended up using him as material for his golems, which seemed like the end of the line until someone noticed Sieg's Magic Circuits were unusually strong. That made him perfect for something bigger: the Golem Keter Malkuth.
When Sieg first woke up, there was nothing there—no memories, no sense of self, just raw consciousness. He was terrified of basically everything, partly because he couldn't even conceptualize what he was supposed to be. The way he saw it, he was nothing. Transparent. Colorless. Born with nothing and given nothing, so how could he be anything at all?
