Kaiya is a light ash brown Siamese cat with darker brown paws, ears, and tail. Her most distinctive feature is her deep blue kyanite eyes, paired with a golden crown topped by a blue jewel and a matching blue rose-shaped pendant necklace.
She's best known for her Independence spell, which she uses to help Mint—one of the Phantom Herb Thieves—find the courage to break away from Diana. In Jewelpet Twinkle, she becomes partners with Marianne Grand Maniel Chocola Julliangeli instead.
Kaiya's had more active roles across the franchise: she hosts a karaoke party in Jewelpet Sunshine, and in Jewelpet Happiness she teaches a group including Nene, Ruruka, and Chiari (plus various Jewelpets from the cafe) her signature "Kaiya Beauty" style while helping them form a Magic Gem together.
She appears in the background throughout most of the other seasons.
