Ryuji Ikeda—better known as Zero—leads Team Spiral. His family runs a temple where his father serves as head priest, which has given Ikeda the financial backing to seriously pursue racing without worrying about money.
He's one of the older racers on the circuit, known for staying composed no matter what's happening on track. Before races, he zones out to prepare himself mentally. Ikeda's whole approach to racing is built around what he calls "Zero Theory"—the idea that a driver and their car need to function as one unified thing rather than two separate pieces. To make that happen, he does extensive tuning work to match the car's characteristics to his own driving style, which he believes unlocks a higher level of performance.
