A homeless guy who's basically become a fixture around town. He's got this whole look going—oversized glasses, bright orange cap, and notably no pants—that makes him instantly recognizable, even if people sometimes mix him up with Gintoki because of the similar hair. But that's where the resemblance ends. Musashi's got this intense, samurai-like gaze that's pretty distinctive once you actually look at him.
He's more capable than you'd expect from someone living on the streets. Badminton's just one of his random skills; he's actually pretty talented at whatever odd job he picks up. In that way, he's got a lot in common with Hasegawa—both of them just floating around doing whatever work comes their way. The guy's a jack-of-all-trades type.
In the show's credits, they usually just call him "Musashi-like person," which is fitting since he seems to exist in that weird liminal space of being an actual character while also kind of being a running gag.
