Doromizu Jirochou runs the Dobunezumi Group, one of the yakuza syndicates controlling the Kabuki District. He's got a reputation as a serious fighter—skilled with a blade and weathered from countless conflicts, which earned him the nickname "All Under Heaven" among others.
Physically, he stands out: dark skin and heavy facial scars make him instantly recognizable. Gintoki's taken to calling him the "Ganguro old man" as a jab at his appearance, though it doesn't seem to bother him much.
What's interesting about Jirochou is his softer side. He was close friends with Terada Tatsugorou for years—Otose's late husband—and apparently carried feelings for Otose himself back in the day, despite her status as one of the Kabuki District's four Devas. It's the kind of detail that hints at real history and loyalty underneath all the yakuza politics.
