Gintama: Yorinuki Gintama-san on Theater 2D
Hijikata Toushirou, the tough-as-nails Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi, gets cursed by a sword that completely flips his personality—turning him from a hardened cop into a full-blown otaku. While he's desperately trying to break the curse, an ambitious rookie named Itou Kamotarou sees his chance and makes a move to overthrow him. But Itou's got bigger plans than anyone realized, and his scheming threatens to tear the entire Shinsengumi apart. Meanwhile, the Yorozuya get a visit from a potential new member: a cheerful young woman named Pirako Doromizu. She seems great on the surface, but she's hiding some seriously violent tendencies. What Gintoki and the others don't know is that Pirako's connected to one of the big powers running the Kabuki district, and her arrival kicks off a chain reaction that plunges the whole neighborhood into civil war.
