Vato Falman is a Warrant Officer who works primarily in investigations, though he's best known for his meticulous attention to detail and data analysis. He served under Lieutenant Hughes at Eastern Headquarters alongside Roy Mustang, and after Hughes's death, he pushed hard to join Mustang's team. Mustang eventually agreed, and Falman transferred with him to Central.
Falman's main quirk is how stiff and formal he is—so much so that his colleagues wish he'd ease up a bit. But that rigidity also makes him valuable; his precision and organizational skills are genuinely useful to the operation.
