Nephrite is a small Pembroke Welsh Corgi with light orange and white fur. His signature look includes green jeweled eyes, a blue checked flat cap, and a green diamond-shaped necklace.

He's best known as Akira Nanase's partner. Nephrite shows up to break Diana's curse, which had twisted Akira into someone harsh toward the kids in his basketball classes. Like Ruby, Nephrite is invested in getting Akira and Rinko together.
