Synopsis

A magical wand named Ruby shows up at Illyasviel von Einzbern's door one night, fleeing from her abusive master. Sensing incredible magical potential in Illya, Ruby transforms her into a magical girl on the spot. Now equipped with unique and powerful abilities, Illya takes on the identity of Prisma Illya. Ruby's previous owner soon tracks her down with an urgent request: Fuyuki City is in danger. Seven Class Cards—artifacts packed with magical energy—have been scattered throughout the city and could cause serious problems if they end up in the wrong hands. Luckily, Illya's been obsessed with magical girl anime her whole life, so she figures she's basically got this. But as she teams up with other elementary schoolers and some legitimately powerful mages to hunt down the cards, the mission quickly becomes way more complicated than expected.
