Persona 4
Inaba is a quiet countryside town that's been plagued by a series of brutal murders. Souji Seta moves there to live with his uncle for a year while his parents work abroad, and he ends up at Yasogami High School with three other freshmen: the outspoken Chie, the loud Yosuke, and the elegant Yukiko. They become fast friends and start hanging out after class, where Chie tells Souji about the "Midnight Channel"—supposedly a way to see your soulmate by staring at your TV screen when it's off during a rainy midnight. The group figures it's probably just an urban legend, but they decide to test it out anyway. At midnight, they see a classmate on the screen. Days later, that same person becomes the next murder victim. Suddenly the Midnight Channel doesn't seem so fictional. With the police hitting dead ends, Souji and his friends take matters into their own hands and start investigating. Their search eventually leads them past the town itself and into something stranger: a parallel world hidden inside the TV.
