Motoyasu Kitamura gets summoned to another world as the Spear Hero, though he's not exactly hero material. Eventually he becomes obsessed with filolials—bird-like creatures—to the point of not caring about much else. When he dies in battle, he suddenly finds himself back at the moment of his original summoning. Turns out his spear has a Time Reversal ability, and since his stats carried over, he's basically playing on god mode now. With his memories intact and his power intact, Motoyasu's got one goal: to see Filo smile again. She's the filolial he's fallen hardest for, and this time around, nothing's going to stop him from being with her. It's basically a second chance at everything—just with way better equipment.
