Born in 1983. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design with a major in Japanese-styled painting.

She was working a regular office job when she got nominated for the 57th Chiba Tetsuya Manga Prize in 2009. Her debut short work, which ran in Morning magazine under the title Jigoku no Sata to Are ya Kore, caught on with readers. The series eventually got renamed to what fans know it as today: Hoozuki no Reitetsu.
