Synopsis

Kyouko Honda's memory becomes a source of comfort and guidance for those close to her, even after her death. But she wasn't always the wise, caring person people remember her as now. As a young girl, Kyouko felt abandoned by her family and rejected by society. She turned to delinquency, throwing away her education and any stable future. Her spiral downward came to an abrupt halt when she met Katsuya, a newly minted teacher at her school who would eventually become her husband. Katsuya didn't flinch at Kyouko's outbursts—his calm, gentle attention toward her was something she'd never experienced before. As they grew closer, she began to open up, and with that came a chance at a better life.
